July 22 Sunday Service at the Valley recap

What fun to see past Pastor Mike and his wife at Genesee Valley church! Pastor served communion for us! Yvonne Watt's daughter Latricia and her partner Corey and baby Asher joined Yvonne, Kelly, and Shay. Welcome!
The music was awesome. Thank you, Louise! Rosanna did a great job in leading the service. Betty, thank you for your work in making the church ready for company! Phyllis, thanks for thinking of having Pastor Mike offer our communion!
Linda, your message was right on point--directly speaking to the Gospel! Our American culture has changed so that nowadays, families don't seem to have time to gather and talk!
Linda said that the Education Committee is fleshing out a plan to offer simple meals at the St. John Fellowship hall on Wednesdays this fall so that families who are running between sports and committee meetings, etc, can drop by at the hall for a bite to eat before their next commitments! Great idea!
I'm so proud to be a part of this remarkable congregation and the Lutheran church! I feel renewed!
