Prayer for Veteran's Day

Almighty and ever living God, we give you thanks for the men and women who have served and defended our country and the values of freedom and justice we hold so dear. Help us be mindful of the sacrifices they made and the hardship endured by their families and friends, so that we never take for granted the privileges they have secured for us. Hear us, we pray, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. AMEN

Prayer Request For Careen's Dad and All of Herr Family

I have a prayer request
Could we all pray for Careen's dad and all of her family? They were not given very good news today.  He has a large tumor at the base of his brain that is inoperable. She has asked that we pray for him to make it through Christmas when all her siblings will be there.
We also need to pray for for them all for the strength they will need and to send them God's comfort.
