Lutherans are commemorating the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther's leadership in explaining how the Church had not been following the basic teachings of Jesus during Luther's time. He wasn't the only person that was upset by the mistakes that the Church was making, but thanks to the invention of the printing press and some historical events, his message sped around the world. This movie will help people recall the life and times of Martin Luther. Genesee Lutheran will be viewing the movie in the Fellowship hall of St. John Wednesday evening, the day AFTER the presentation on PBS television. The movie is NOT a "churchy" movie which is meant to indoctrinate anyone. But anyone with an interest in history and even religious ideas, will be interested. Please join us.
