Congregational Meeting Recap

Gathering with friends from the church this morning was wonderful!  I thought that I'd recap what I saw happen (these are not minutes of the meeting--just one member's point of view):

Council President John Marone welcomed us, explaining that the Council wanted to share what is happening with the selection process for a new minister for Genesee Lutheran parish.

The council members introduced themselves and then took a number of questions of the congregation.  John showed us the bulletin board with the goblet that will let members know where we are in the Call process.
We have completed the first two steps:  EXIT INTERVIEW and CONGREGATIONAL MEETING, Information on Call Process.

Then the group discussed three topics:
1.  What Do We Want to Hold On To
2.  What Do We Want to Let Go OF
3.  What Do We Aspire To Be

Three posters which are in the Fellowship hall have all of the ideas that we mentioned during the meeting!

If anyone wants to add any thoughts to any of these board
they may go to the Fellowship Hall and add more notes
(colored post-it notes are next to the boards).
