Items Needed for Church Office

Work on the church office at St. John's is almost complete. A wifi network has been installed along with a laptop computer and printer. The office is located in the room across from the restrooms.

We still need a desk, office chair and filing cabinet. Donations would be greatly appreciated. Patrick is happy to pickup donated items and take them to the church.

Tonight 7 PM Movie at St. John's Fellowship Hall

Martin Luther The Idea That

Genesee Lutheran will be viewing the movie in the Fellowship hall of St. John Wednesday evening. The movie is NOT a "churchy" movie which is meant to indoctrinate anyone. But anyone with an interest in history and even religious ideas, will be interested.

Lutherans are commemorating the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther's leadership in explaining how the Church had not been following the basic teachings of Jesus during Luther's time.  He wasn't the only person that was upset by the mistakes that the Church was making, but thanks to the invention of the printing press and some historical events, his message sped around the world.  This movie will help people recall the life and times of Martin Luther.

Everyone Welcome Please join us.
